Levels of Intervention

GRAND CENTRAL STATION supports students with several levels of intervention.

In Level One the student visits the Learning Lab on a drop-in basis. The students receive instruction in the regular classroom. Then they can visit the lab for one-on-one support.
The GRAND CENTRAL STATION Lab keeps a master calendar of every teacher's assignments, quizzes, tests and projects. The students can check any time for due dates.

If students are unsuccessful with Level One support, they may be assigned to the DAILY LAB CLASS. This involves a full-class period in the lab giving the students more time to use study aids. With more time in the lab, they can learn about their strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan with the GCS teachers. The GCS teachers also do weekly grade checks and communicate with the classroom teachers about your student's needs.
