6th Grade Mathematics
I graduated from Thrall High School in 1997 and earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Bluefield State College in West Virginia.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Education, and I’m certified to teach Math in 4th through 8th grades.
I continue to seek out meaningful professional development to continue to grow as an educator. One of my proudest accomplishments as an educator is completing three years of Texas Regional Collaborative (TRC) through Region 12 ESC, which totals over 300 hours of professional development through TRC alone.
I started my career in Troy in 2016, and this will be my sixth year in the district. I have been teaching sixth grade math the past five years in Troy.
Prior to coming to Troy ISD, I taught 7th and 8th Grade Math for two years at Lamar Middle School in Temple, 7th Grade Math for two years in West Virginia, and served one year as an Elementary Reading and Math Interventionist in West Virginia.
My husband Joe and I have been married since 2011. We have two awesome boys, Gage and Tucker, who keep us very busy year-round with football and baseball. Both boys also attend school in Troy, and we are a PROUD Trojan family.
My husband Joe and I have helped run Troy Youth Football and Cheer for the past 7 years, and much of our spare time is spent helping run the League, as well as watching our boys play the sports they love. Baseball also keeps us busy year-round as well, as our oldest plays Showcase baseball. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me at the ball fields or running to and from practices and games.
